The primary purpose of this position is to enhance our sales operations by providing supervision, guidance, support, and expertise to our Builder Channel Sales team. This position is instrumental in enhancing these customer relationships, while improving both the sales effectiveness and efficiency of the support team.
Primary Functions:
- Lead, mentor, and coach the Builder Specialists, Architect Specialists and Sales Support Administration team.
- Foster collaborative and results-oriented team culture across a diverse set of sales support functions.
- Set clear performance expectations, evaluate performance and provide feedback and corrective actions as needed.
- Support two focus areas consisting of regional residential builders as well as custom home builder/architect track
- Prepare and present performance reports to Management Team
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
- Take the lead on developing strategy and customer relations with regional builders and eventually, national builders.
- Analyze the sales process to identify opportunities for improvement, implementation of best practices and streamline workflows to maximize sales efficiency.
- Facilitate and coordinate builder/architect events.
- Collaborate with regional sales leadership teams to align sales support initiatives.
- Ensure team members are proficient in using CRM and other relevant tools.
Monthly Salary Range:
$9,955.00 (minimum) - $12,445 (midpoint). Compensation will be based on the skills and experience of the candidate.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Minimum of three years’ experience managing a team.
- Knowledge of the building industry is required.
- Proficiency with key technology tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and CRM-systems is required.
- Effective communication, coaching and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute strategic plans and experience in setting long-term strategy and aligning team efforts with organizational goals.
- Sound decision making skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Possess strong analytical skills to assess complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
- Experience in leading change management activities to successful team results.
- Must possess good organizational and planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed and specified procedures.
- Able to demonstrate high level of customer focus.
- Must demonstrate ability to take initiative.
- Enjoy working with others in a team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel, primarily domestic but occasional international travel, around 20-30 days per year.
- Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
