CPG Procurement Analyst (REMOTE)

Your responsibilities would encompass supporting the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Here are some key areas of focus: 

1.       Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, resolving issues, and fostering collaboration to ensure a reliable supply of goods and services. Support the development and administration of supplier assessments, scorecards, and other analytics to manage supplier performance.

2. Purchase Order Lifecycle: Own the entire Purchase Order Lifecycle for your product line. From determining supply needs, Purchase Order creation to receiving inventory systematically to close out the Purchase Order. Review and assist with Purchase Order and / or Invoice discrepancies to resolve pricing, quantity, and unit of measure issues to ensure payment within terms for all vendors. Continually review open Purchase Orders and proactively ensure that they are delivered on time.

3.       Cost Management: Implement cost-effective procurement practices, such as conducting price negotiations, exploring alternative sourcing options, and optimizing inventory levels. Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.

4.       Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production, and demand planning, to ensure an efficient and responsive supply chain. Support the development and administration of performance indicators, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and lead times, and take proactive measures to address bottlenecks or disruptions. 

5.       Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or supplier dependencies. Implement risk assessment processes, develop contingency plans, and maintain business continuity in the face of unforeseen events.

6. Review contracts ensuring compliance around pricing, payment terms, volume, and commitments.

By effectively supporting the procurement function, you contribute to optimizing costs, ensuring a reliable supply of goods and services, mitigating risks, and driving overall operational excellence. 

Travel Requirement: Up to 20%

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a CPG procurement role
• Netsuite experience a plus
