As a Benefits Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role on both the benefits and finance teams, driving strategic analysis to support key business decisions. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of the benefits arena. The ideal candidate will collaborate across various teams and divisions, providing valuable insights to senior executives to ensure the company's benefits programs are meeting the needs of our employees while remaining cost effective for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis
    • Utilize advanced analytics tools and methodologies to analyze large datasets related to employee benefits, identifying patterns, trends and opportunities for program improvement
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide a clear visual representation of key benefit metrics.
  • Strategic Insights
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical solutions that inform strategic decisions related to benefits
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to HR leadership based on data analysis
  • Predictive Modeling
    • Develop and implement predictive models in partnership with external benefit conultants, to forecast benefit program trends, utilization and costs
    • Continuously refind models to enhance accuracy and relevance
  • Collaboration across teams and divisions
    • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders across multiple divisions and teams to ensure awareness and collaboration in decision making.
  • Data Integrity and Quality
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of benefit-related data by implementing data validation and quality assurance processes.
  • Work closely with external benefit consultants, benefit vendors, as well as internal teams to streamline data collection, reporting, and data alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates the ability to live the CHG core values
  • Understanding of general benefit principles
  • Strong understanding and experience in data analytics
  • Profecient in building and updating data models
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a matrix/cross functional model
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
  • Understands business processes required to meet ongoing organization needs
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Has a positive can-do attitude as well as a strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated and will work extended hours when needed to complete tasks on time
  • Effective and appropriate in written and verbal communication
  • Open to feedback and proactively asks questions

Education & Years of Experience:

  • 2 - 4 Years work experience in benefits, finance, analytics, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $51,700 -- $157,100 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location. 

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
