THE OPPORTUNITY:

HUB’s Customer Service professionals provide critical support to our customers through account management, claims management, day-to-day client oversight, and underwriting services that make us a leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. Through a robust network of resources, you will be amongst some of the industry’s top talent to help guide and support our customer’s needs and provide them with innovative solutions.

The Account Manager services and manages a book of insurance while providing professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, business partners, and HUB colleagues.  In providing the highest level of support to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues you will positively impact customer satisfaction and client retention. In addition, your account management expertise will support the organic growth goals of the organization by supporting Producers in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business which includes account rounding, cross-selling and the development of new business.

  • Provides primary (main) day-today point of contact for clients

  • Acquires understanding of clients’ insurance objectives and critically analyzes and compares insurance plans to determine suitability

  • Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues that require policy interpretation and experience based judgment to resolve; may also negotiate with underwriters and carriers

  • Prepares, executes, or delegates all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts and tasks as is appropriate

  • Key contributor for executing critical path work for clients: Identifies opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of other Hub products and services where appropriate.

  • Stays abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that may impact clients

  • Manages, organizes, and conducts client meetings when necessary

  • Maintains data and documentation in the organizations broker management systems

  • Manage client relationship and troubleshoot client service needs as they arise

  • Follow Hub Best Practices & workflows as an Account Manager.

  • Travel up to 25% for client meetings.

Salary

The expected salary range for this position is $64,480.00 - $70,000.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience, education and licensing certifications, geographic location, approved salary budget, as well as the specific positions business lines, complexity, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefits and total compensation packages which includes health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, eligible bonuses and commissions for full-time positions (30 hours or more).

  • Have at least 3+ years of related commercial insurance experience

  • Are currently licensed in good standing
