Senior Sales Operations & Planning Manager **

Location:** Paris, France; Spain, Remote;

The role sits in the Commercial Planning and Steering organization and forms one of the key interfaces between the Markets and the business units (Demand, Convenience, Supply, Finance). The Demand PlannerThe analyst will support the long-term success of Best Secret in the different regions by driving insights, planning, and forecasting our sales, providing data-driven recommendations, and bringing transparency to the business drivers. The candidate must have a deep business knowledge of the industry and strong analytical skills to help BestSecret senior staff in commercial planning and steering decision-making. This is a high-impact role that will have a direct influence on the day-to-day rhythm of Best Secret’s core consumer business and ensure its continued success.

Your responsibilities

  • Planning and Predictive Analysis:
  • You will be actively involved in our long and mid-term topline planning and our recurring monthly forecasts.
  • Develop our forecasting, and demand planning models by implementing statistical methods to perform predictive analysis for sales trends and customer behavior in our plans.
  • You will collaborate with other planning stakeholders to improve the current planning process including data exchange and cross validation.
  • Harmonize our current short and mid-term forecasting methodologies.
  • Reporting and ad hoc analysis:
  • Drive analysis generating actionable insights to provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to support decision-making at both tactical and strategic levels.
  • You will develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the topline, customer behavior, and our model accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the data team to ensure high-quality data and work on ongoing improvements of the statistical models and tools to serve business excellence and efficiency.

About You

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a business / financial analyst, a sales planner or a consultant
  • Master's degree in business, Engineering, or finance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrate critical-thinking abilities combined with a strong business understanding.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with good stakeholder management abilities.
  • You can present analytical and data-based insights to a diverse audience.
  • Dedicated team player and are also able to drive your work autonomously.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (including the ability to write and implement VBA macros)
  • Proficient in SQL (for data extraction and manipulation)
  • You are proficient in English in both oral and written form.
  • It would be a plus if: You have a good command of Python, (pandas, NumPy, sklearn, stats model), You can create/edit the dashboard in Power BI or You have already worked in the e-commerce industry.
